Kaolin Hemostatic Gauze, 2 Pack — Emergency Trauma Dressing

Kaolin-impregnated gauze for your car kit, workshop or pack. Kaolin is an inert mineral that helps the blood's own clotting process begin faster when the gauze is held against a bleeding wound with firm pressure.

• 2 dressings per pack
• Each dressing measures 7.5 x 150 cm
• Vacuum-sealed and compact enough for a glovebox, backpack or first aid kit
• Non-stinging and does not generate heat on contact

How to use

1. Open the pack and pack or press the gauze directly onto the source of bleeding.
2. Apply firm, continuous pressure for at least 3 minutes.
3. Secure with a bandage and keep pressure on while getting medical help.

This is a first aid dressing for temporary bleeding control until professional care is available. It is not a substitute for emergency medical treatment. For any serious, deep or heavily bleeding wound, call 000 immediately and seek medical attention — do not delay care because bleeding appears to have slowed. Not for use in the eye or on internal injuries. Training in bleeding control is strongly recommended before you need it.
